1Which GDS systems does Travelmax use?
Travelmax uses Sabre and Amadeus (as well as KIU and a variety of NDC platforms belonging to specific airlines). As an agency, you may (1) continue using your own Sabre/Amadeus account and send PNRs to us for ticketing, (2) utilize one or more Sabre/Amadeus accounts with us, (3) contact our team via email or phone for quotes and/or ticketing they manage entirely on their end.
2Aside from airline commissions and negotiated rates, what discounts or other benefits do you have?
In addition to our airline contracts, we maintain vendor relations with a variety of other sorts of travel providers, including hotels, ground transportation companies, charter companies, cruise companies, tour operators, and bed banks. While discounts, negotiated rates, waivers, favors, and other incentives vary from vendor to vendor, these platforms offer a variety of very compelling benefits which we pass on to our clients.
3Can I independently ticket, without oversight, from your PCCs/Office IDs?
Agencies that have built up trust and significant booking volume with Travelmax have self ticketing privileges on their Sabre/Amadeus accounts with us. In order to obtain self ticketing privileges, an agency client first must (1) reach a certain level of booking volume and (2) have worked with us for at least six months at a high booking volume without issue (no debit memos, no payment issues, etc.).
4Do you have a self-service booking platform?
Agency clients who would prefer to use a point-and-click platform to access our negotiated rates and assemble reservations are welcome to use a Sabre Launchpad account with us.
5How frequently are payments issued?
Payments are issued every other week.
